In fact, after myriad of scrubbing intervals, she was returned to the rotation, like Jerry's favorite yellow T-shirt, Golden Boy.

I must confess that last night, I had a bowl of Apple-Cinnamon instant oatmeal (because I'm a rebel timeshifter like that), and upon reaching the bottom of the bowl, I LICKED SPOONY CLEAN!

That's payback for your scraggly toenail clippings comment.

***********************
knancy,
Yeah, my boys and Hick probably don't even know how special SPOONY is among spoons. But IF THEY DID, they would steal her in a hot New York minute. I think Hick has American Pickers on speed dial.

***********************
Donna,
There you go! Aren't they sweet.

One day--before I was about to take an exam--they sent me a picture of Cocoa drinking out of my favorite Star Wars coffee cup. The one I bought and specifically said, "IT MINE. NO TOUCH. ME KILL YOU." and I thought they understood. Wait, did I forget to mention that Cocoa is my 110-lb chocolate lab and that she was DRINKING out of my cup? Yeah. She was drinking out of it like it belonged to her and not me. I almost ran out of that classroom and drove all the way home just so I could punch my sister in the face for sending me the picture. Cuppy is tainted now, and Cocoa seems to think that she can use it whenever I'm using it.Bailey Hammondhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12438805090275443619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-44153327583799894.post-48458954131340265052011-10-25T08:40:55.620-05:002011-10-25T08:40:55.620-05:00Cute story, and I love the line about the "sp...Cute story, and I love the line about the "spoonmanity."

I don't think it's odd at all that you have an attraction to a particular piece of silverware. I have a bit of one myself. I prefer pointed tines on my forks, so when I set the table I make sure I get a pointy fork and not a roundy one.
DonnaDonna Volkenannthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04540727800410234483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-44153327583799894.post-45190817872967943522011-10-24T23:22:22.290-05:002011-10-24T23:22:22.290-05:00Well, this post made me realize we are both nuckin...Well, this post made me realize we are both nucking futs. I, too, have a piece of silverware that is "special". There are other items in my house that are special also. I have a certain bowl that I like to eat from and a certain glass that is "mine". What is this attraction and love for inanimate objects? Perhaps it is just that I hate cheap sh*t and when I find a nice item in my house I claim it as mine. Fortunately, other people around me don't seem to notice. But then again, they were probably the ones who stole my good stuff and sold it!knancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01676773933097423968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-44153327583799894.post-23039905821798903212011-10-24T21:28:33.924-05:002011-10-24T21:28:33.924-05:00Spoony is tainted.
