If a Writer Posts on the Internet, and Nobody is There to Read It, Does it Still Count as Writing?

What say you?

Does it matter if anybody reads what you have to say? Would you do it anyway, even if nobody commented? I would. That's how I roll. I enjoy the process. I crack myself up. Nobody wants to join me? Too bad, so sad. Your loss.

I suppose I could branch, out. Comment more places. Make a concerted effort to garner followers. But to what end? Does my self-esteem depend on how many people visit my little blog each day? Nope. I suit myself.

My other blog has been around for six years. It has fewer followers than this one. And it's a kick-a$$ blog, if I do say so myself. I can get lost in there for hours, reading about what once was.

Perhaps I'm a bit of a narcissistic egomaniac. As opposed to a selfless egomaniac.

labbie,
Not really a fan. I only watch him during election cycles. His Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity book sounds interesting. But he kind of made a giant a$$ of himself on The View one day. I think it was the day that Joy and Whoopi made even bigger a$$e$ of themselves by walking off.

Ah yes! The infamous View show.

He lost me when he started beating up on the young man that had been stolen from St Louis area and kept by his captor for about 4 years. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,243587,00.html

His mother and step-father had never given up on him. He was found when another boy was snatched and the police were able to track that boy down and in the process found the first boy.

Bill who says it's all about the kids and keeping them safe at all costs kept repeating on his show that the first boy was working with the captor and was as guilty as his adult captor of over 4 years going to far as to espouse an association with an FBI agent who was giving him inside info regarding the guilt of the first boy! He said it over and over on just about every show during that time period.

Turned out he was wrong. Never apologized either.

He has the right to opine to his heart's content. However, don't espouse on one hand that you are all about making sure the children are cared for and then turn right around and tear one down because he was stolen and was able to stay alive for 4 years in a heart wrenching situation.

I have never forgiven him for that! Gman says I should let it go. Everyone can make a mistake. Yeah yeah yeah--but this one went too far. It was not an opinion about politics but about a kid!

Sorry for the bloviating...

labbie,
We had a relative of that kid in our district. It is a miracle that he was found.

B O can take a dive into a dry natatorium for all I care. But Kathy Griffin's mom, Maggie, idolizes him.

Indeed it was a miracle! I saw an interview with him and his parents about his foundation and the number of hours of therapy it took for him. He is amazingly sane it would seem.

B O You know I never thought about his inits. LOL AND I KNEW you were a spa kind of girl cause I had to look up natatorium! LOL
